Transform ordinary plastic logos and components into premium, high-gloss metallic masterpieces with our advanced Vacuum Chrome Plating Machine. Engineered specifically for decorative metallization on plastic substrates, this state-of-the-art system employs Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) technology to deliver brilliant, mirror-like chrome finishes that elevate brand identity and product perceived value.
Whether you manufacture automotive emblems, consumer electronics logos, cosmetic packaging, or luxury hardware, our vacuum chrome plating solution provides a superior, environmentally sustainable alternative to traditional wet electroplating.
How It Works
The machine operates under high-vacuum conditions (typically 10⁻³ Pa ~ 10⁻⁵ Pa) within a sealed chamber. High-purity chrome or other metals are vaporized through thermal evaporation or magnetron sputtering and deposited as an ultra-thin, uniform film onto pre-treated plastic parts.
The result? A flawless, durable metallic coating that adheres perfectly to the substrate—without the toxic wastewater, acids, or hexavalent chromium associated with conventional electroplating.
Features
Advanced PVD Technology
Utilizes magnetron sputtering or thermal evaporation systems for exceptional coating uniformity, adhesion, and repeatability. Supports deposition of aluminum, chrome, copper, gold, silver, and other metals.
Fully Automated PLC Control
Programmable digital interface with preset recipes for different materials and finishes. Real-time monitoring of temperature, pressure, and deposition rate reduces human error and ensures batch-to-batch consistency.
High-Capacity Vacuum Chamber
Designed with optimized fixturing and planetary rotating fixtures to maximize batch loads and ensure uniform coverage on complex 3D geometries. Available in various sizes—1200×1400mm, 1400×1600mm, 1600×1800mm, 1800×2000mm, or custom dimensions.
Multi-Layer Coating Capability
Deposits complex layer stacks including: an adhesion-promoting base layer, the decorative chrome layer, and a protective top coat for enhanced scratch, chemical, and UV resistance.
Low-Temperature Process
Operates at precisely controlled temperatures (typically 70°C – 100°C) to prevent thermal distortion, warping, or outgassing of heat-sensitive plastics like ABS, PC, PP, and nylon.
Robust Stainless Steel Construction
Corrosion-resistant body ensures long-term durability in harsh industrial environments, offering extended lifespan compared to conventional materials.
Eco-Friendly Operation
A dry process that generates no wastewater or chemical pollutants. Complies with international environmental standards.
