Inline Sputtering System for Glass Mirror
This model is designed for continuous applying high quality vacuum sputtering coatings on large area flat glass panels. The quality of coatings is stable. The machine works automatically and need less labor. The coating technology is magnetron sputtering.
High stability and repeatable quality can be obtained because of the stable coating conditions can be provided in an inline coating equipment. Magnetron sputtering technology is used in the coating line. Both of DC and mid-frequency magnetron sputtering can be used. The magnetron type includes cylindrical rotate magnetron sputtering and planar sputtering cathodes.
DC magnetron sputtering magnetrons is used for direct sputtering. It means that when the sputtering process happens, the coating thin layer was formed from the sputtering cathode, not produced by the reactive coating, which produced by ions and gas. The general coatings made by DC sputtering includes chrome, aluminum, titanium, stainless steel, silver, etc.
Mid-frequency is usually used for reactive sputtering. Different gases are involved in this kind of sputtering process. That means, with reactive sputtering with different gases, it is possible to obtain different colors. The coating substrates can be glass, ceramic, or even metal sheets.
